As a Christ-focused community, it is our privilege and responsibility to spread the Gospel and Word of Jesus Christ to our world. Here at Harvest, the way we approach this is through church planting.
Our passion is never to put our banner on a church to spread our name but rather to resource and equip local pastors as they spread the name of Jesus to their own communities and make disciples to the glory of God. Over the past years we've had the privilege of training numerous pastors, sending teams to equip elders and small group leaders, and providing funds to build buildings where local communities can meet to lift high the name of Jesus Christ and become vertically-focused churches in their region.
HARVEST LOVING HOME
Harvest Loving Home is a children’s shelter that was built out of Harvest Bible Chapel in Kathmandu, Nepal. Both the church and the shelter is run by Pastor Timothy Dahal and his wife, Yasoda. They used their own money to buy a plot of land for Harvest Loving Home and in 2016 our church donated funds to help them build a building on that property. After 2 years of building, the children were finally able to move into the shelter!
There are currently 29 children living in Harvest Loving Home. On the back of this card is one child that is living in the home. Join us in praying for the health and safety of this child of God. Pray that they would continue to grow in the likeness of our Savior and be provided all of his/her needs. Also be praying for Pastor Timothy and his wife, Yasoda as they continue to care for them and serve the Lord so faithfully.
